J W Lewis & Sons Ltd has been working for Midas Construction Ltd for a number of years prior to 1998. However, the business relationship between both Companies has grown considerably since 1998, from which the following contracts were awarded and successfully completed by ourselves:
1999 – Housing development at Pargolla Road, Newquay – using 587 square metres of Redland Mini Stonewold tiles.
2000 – Housing development at South Street, St Austell – using 292 square metres of Redland Mini Stonewold tiles.
2001 – Seven Classroom Extension at Fowey Community College, St Austell – using 847 square metres of Redland Cambrian slates.
2002 – 18 Flats at Cliff Road, Falmouth – 758 square metres of Spanish first quality slate (Carried out by Stuart Clarke).
2002 – 9 Houses at Well Way, Newquay – using Redland Mini Stonewold tiles.
2003 – Extension at Treviglas School, Newquay – using 1136 square metres of Eternit Fibre Cement Slates (Carried out by Andrew Bragg)
2003 – Music Suite Extension at Treviglas School, Newquay - using 259 square metres of Eternit Fibre Cement Slates
2004 – New Grampound and Creed School Hall – using 670 square metres of Riverstone natural slate from Argentina (Carried out by Stuart Clarke)
2004 – Extension at the Watergate Bay Hotel, Newquay – using 290 square metres of Brazilian natural slates mainly to curved roof (Carried out by Sean Sullivan)
2004 - Extension at Whitemoor CP School – using 277 square metres of Eternit Fibre Cement Slates (Carried out by Jason Matthews)
2004 – Three Classroom Extension at Beacon Infant School, Bodmin – using 484 square metres of Eternit Fibre Cement Slates (Carried out by Stuart Clarke)
2005 – Extension at St Merryn School – using 318 square metres of Brazilian natural slate (Carried out by Stuart Clarke)
2005 - Extension at Fowey Hall Hotel, St Austell (Plymouth Branch) - using Redland Rosemary Clay Plain Tiles (Carried out by Peter Dawson)
2005 - New Respite Centre at Tregadillet, Launceston – using 583 square metres of Cembrit Blunn Westerland Fibre Cement Slates (Carried out by Sean Sullivan)
2005 - New Teaching Block at Saltash College (Carried out by Stuart Clarke)
2007 - New Roof at The Terrace, Port Isaac - Rag slate roof with single size reclaimed Delabole slates on the vertical
