New Development for Persimmon Homes
During recent times, J W Lewis & Sons Ltd have proved to Persimmon Homes that we are capable of carrying out high quality roofing packages at their housing development at Nancesmere in Truro.
With Truro set to continue for a few more years, Persimmons have now awarded us another sub-contract order for their new site in St Austell. This development of 44 properties and a block of flats is a mixed site of Redland Mini Stonewold concrete interlocking tiles and the ever popular Brazilian natural slates.
Persimmon’s Site Manager, Peter Williams, has quoted – “It has been a few years since I last worked with Lewis’s and I am really pleased we will be working together again. They have always been an excellent roofing Company to work with and I am sure they will do me proud here at St Austell.”

New Development for St Piran Homes
Work has started on 14 new homes on a former walled garden site off Westheath Avenue, Bodmin, adding another new feature to an area that has benefited from much regeneration in recent years.
St Piran Homes had purchased the 0.6-acre site with detailed planning permission and will create Bethany, adjacent to Bethany House. The project will comprise of 14 units with a mix of two and three bedroom terraced houses and one and two bedroom apartments.
It is going to be a quick site for us as we have been booked to carry out the roofing to all the units from the 18th October and to be completed by the 9th November. We are looking forward to the challenge!
